Our Mission

Open Windows Books provides free multicultural books to teachers and media specialists in Greater Minnesota to expand the opportunities for rural children to read stories from a variety of perspectives. We establish partnerships with school districts, colleges, and universities to distribute free books and offer professional development for educators.

Our Vision

Open Windows Books envisions a world in which all children develop empathy and understanding and learn to bridge cultural differences through reading stories that authentically portray the lives of people from many cultures.
